There's a major problem with the tailgates of the 5th Generation Rams: a GIANT hole that invites gravel to get stuck inside! It is a major pain to get the debris out and the best solution is to stop the gravel from getting in there in the first place.

This Gravel Guard works for 5th Gen Rams (2019 and newer) by covering the gaping hole in the bottom of our tailgates, while still allowing water to drain out. The Tailgate Gravel Guard is made of a durable material to withstand the daily abuse of being at the business end of our trucks, yet gentle enough to not chafe the wires going into the tailgate.

Awesome product

I ended up with lots of small rocks in my tailgate after hauling a load of gravel. Researched options, found this product. It was a perfect fit, easy to install, and completely solved the problem. Awesome product, highly recommended!

Simple solution at a good price - should have come standard

Rocks in the tailgate are just irritating! This is a great and inexpensive solution that I wish I would have known about long before!

Does a great job stopping grass clippings

I mow a handful of properties and catch the grass clippings that go straight into the bed of my Ram. The hole at the bottom of the tailgate would always fill with grass when I was trying to empty the bed. This hole cover fit perfectly and works great at keeping the grass from blowing into this hole when I use a blower to empty the truck bed.

Should have been a factory item.

Great fit once I removed the existing plastic bracket from the wiring harness. Large hole is now a lot smaller. Thank you for making this!

Awesome Innovative Product!

Highly recommend this product. Great small business to support with a high quality product. Fills the gap, but is pliable so it will not crack. Another overlook by Ram and thank goodness BD found a solution!
